Villa 84

Situated in its own landscaped grounds leading down to the beach, the villa is in tranquil Lipa Noi on the west coast of Koh Samui, a slightly less developed area than the east side of the island. The beaches here are the main appeal, with their white sands, clear blue waters, and of course the stunning sunsets, all of which make this the perfect tropical island setting for that unforgettable holiday. The villa is just 35 minutes from the airport by car, 45 minutes to the east coast's main tourist spot of Chaweng, and 25 minutes to the Santiburi golf and country club.

Natural materials and cool neutral colours blend together with the villa's modern design and chic furnishings, and the mingling of stone, wood, bamboo, granite, tiles and glass, together with the authentic artwork on display, lend the villa a stylish, soothing and contemporary environment for guests to appreciate. All the rooms are air conditioned, and each bedroom has a personal safe. There is complimentary Wi-Fi ADSL internet access throughout the villa.

The pool terrace is the social heart of the villa, and is the perfect place for entertaining, outdoor dining and relaxing in the sun. The terrace is furnished with sun loungers, parasols and a dining table and chairs. The large pool runs parallel to the sea and to the right is a private gateway leading to the beach and a natural stone waterfall feature is on the left, with stepping stones over the pool to a beachside sala, which has two large day beds.

The living pavilion is approached from the villa's entrance via feature wooden doors which open to a central covered walkway, offering a stunning view of the sea. The main living area is to the right, divided into three dedicated zones: one for the children which has a flat screen LCD TV and media centre and its own selection of child-appropriate movies and shows. Second is the main living area, furnished with comfortable sofas and a 46" flat screen LCD TV. Thirdly, there is the pool terrace and the al fresco dining area, which also has comfortable sofas to relax on. The living pavilion also has a modern fully equipped kitchen. The formal dining room is in a large pavilion housing just two rooms: the dining room one side, and the fourth bedroom suite the other.

There are four individual bedroom suites throughout the villa, all of which are air conditioned, have large sliding glass doors, a personal safe, and large TV/DVD screens and access to the media centre for a wide choice of entertainment.

The master suite is in a pavilion to one side of the pool and it enjoys stunning views. It has fully glazed doors opening onto the pool terrace. This suite has a king sized bed, and an en suite bathroom with twin hand basins and an extra large walk-in shower decorated with Bisazza mosaic tiles and a choice of wall-mounted or overhead rain shower.

There is an outdoor terrazzo bathtub for two, approached through glass doors, with views to the sea when the courtyard doors are open, but which is totally private when they are closed.

The second bedroom suite is situated next to the garden sala, and is a two storey self-contained suite, reached by its own dedicated staircase. It comprises a king sized bedroom and en suite bathroom with a rain shower. There is also a kitchen area and a wide balcony from which the panoramic views over the property to the ocean can be enjoyed.

Beyond the garden sala is an independent en suite king sized bedroom, again with its own TV/DVD and rain shower bathroom.

The fourth en suite bedroom is located behind the living area in a large pavilion which runs the entire width of the property with this bedroom on one side, and the formal dining room on the other. The bedroom has twin beds and its own terrace leading onto a lawn with views through to the ocean. The formal dining room to the right of this pavilion has a large teak and bamboo dining table.

From the centre of the living area is a staircase leading to a magnificent mezzanine viewing deck with vaulted wooden ceiling. From here the astonishing views can be enjoyed to the full from the two large daybeds. Sliding fully glazed doors in front of the daybeds open onto a balcony embracing views of the pool and the beach, and the Five Islands on the ocean horizon. This pavilion also has a modern western-style fully equipped kitchen. A breakfast bar and serving hatch at the far end links it to the entertaining area of the pool terrace.

Villa 84 - Simply the best holiday ever ! - This is a very special place. The view of the islands is spectacular; the sunsets without equal, however the home and environs is outstanding. The staff of three looked after our every whim, were unobtrusive but made sure every tiny detail was covered. Each suite had it's own features - we liked the upstairs one overlooking the whole property and then out to sea. Another suite looks first to the pool then out to sea, and the other two are surrounded by the beautiful grounds. It was a fantastic place for a holiday - we could lie by the pool; breakfast in the sala; walk along the beach, or on a few occasions we ventured a few minutes in the car for a massage (although we could have had that at home too!) Every meal the chef prepared for us was delicious. Because he was on site, he was able to prepare anything at all - from a cheese toasted sandwich to some of the loveliest Thai food we have ever eaten. The quality of ingredients he had access to was first class. That, along with the high standard of housekeeping, helped to make our holiday one to remember - with a return visit in the pipeline!

Villa 84 - Beautiful villa with the most amazing sunsets! -We spent a few weeks here and I have to say it was the best place I have stayed in all of Thailand!!! From the moment we arrived, the live in staff (Yim and Lut) looked after us so well, and were some of the most lovely people you will ever meet. They know how to make the perfect gin and tonic, which won me over instantly! The property was very beautiful, with all of the rooms nestled amongst a tropical garden.The living areas and master bedroom opening up to a phenomenal view over the infinity edge pool, the beach and all the way out to 5 spectacular islands that rise sheer out of the water on the horizon. The sala was my favorite place to while away the day, perched between the pool and the beach, it was great to just roll/jump in the water to cool off. The sunsets here are truly spectacular and are best viewed by sitting in the warm shallows of the beach with a cocktail, amazing!!! Think we spent every evening there!The location is quite remote for Samui, but I loved that about the place. It was only a short trip into Nathorn village and we hired scooters and explored the palm lined rural roads, hidden restaurants, beaches and waterfalls around the western side of the island. There were quite a few high quality restaurants around at neighboring resorts that our driver took us to. Along with our very own Thai chef, we ate some of the most amazing food! We will definitely be back!

Villa 84 - Our family spent a week at the house and would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. It is very luxurious and is exactly like it is depicted in the photos - no disappoinments! The staff were all extremely helpful and could not have done more to ensure our holiday was a success. There was nothing that we didn't like and our four teenage children had a fabulous time. All the meals we had at the villa were delicious. They descirbed the beds at the house as the most comfortable they had ever slept in! The pool is lovely and the beach deserted and very safe. We would certainly love to return. Thank you.

Villa 84 - Very special holisday - What an indulgence to have our own chef as well as the very capable, considerate villa staff, who are so eager to please.The home consists of several separate 'houses' with all modern amenities. It is just so easy to live in. It is right on the coast of the Gulf with delightful calm water just metres away across our own stretch of beach (which is raked each morning),as well as our own pool. A car is needed to access it as the site is somewhat isolated - but the isolation is also a plus. It is so peaceful.

Villa 84 - A little slice of heaven - Location, location, on the beach means on the beach at this amazing home, Its private, definately not touristy like many other parts of
the island and you are totally spoilt by the amazing staff. The bedrooms are separate from the main living area giving great privacy and they are designer decorated. The beds are extrememly comfortable, the ensuite spotless and its all air-conditioned! One of the hardest decisions I had to make was choosing from the menu, there was so much to choose from and it all tantalised my tastebuds! (I now love Thai food!) Another hard decision was whether I would swim in the pool, lay on the daybed in the salah and gaze at the five islands in the distance or swim and snorkle in the sea... too hard to decide so I just did it all!Snorkling the little reef was amazing...so many coloured fish and coral. I dont think I could say what I liked the best as the whole stay at the villa was fantastic, although sitting in the shallows at low tide, watching the amazing sunsets every evening with my drink being refreshed by the staff takes some beating. What I liked least was saying goodbye but I will definately return!
