Villa 85

One of only 26 villas in an award-winning residential community on the north east coast of Koh Samui, this contemporary angular villa offers security and privacy within its landscaped grounds for families or a group of friends sharing. The decor is stylishly minimalist and uses natural colours and materials in its large beautifully furnished rooms. Ideally situated near Choeng Mon, it is just a few minutes' drive to the quaint "Fisherman's Village" at Bophut, 10 minutes to Koh Samui International Airport and the main tourist centre of Chaweng with its numerous restaurants, shops and lively entertainment. The Santiburi Golf and Country Club is a 30 minute drive away.

The spiritual force of the villa is its central slate-tiled infinity edge pool, merging into the distant view of the sea and Koh Matlang island. A large wooden deck surrounds the pool, furnished with comfortable loungers and chairs for whiling away those relaxing sun-soaked hours. A lowered viewing bench at one end of the pool is the ideal spot for enjoying the stunning views.

The main living area is off the pool terrace and is an open pavilion for al fresco dining and socialising, cooled by ceiling fans and the sea breeze, with rollaway screens at the open sides of the pavilion to provide shade when necessary. It includes a comfortable L-shaped sofa, a dining table for eight, and a fully equipped western-style kitchen and bar. A second kitchen at the back allows guests to prepare larger meals, and there is also a BBQ. Next to the living area is a guest bathroom with shower, and also a glass walled entertainment room, which has a large plasma satellite TV/DVD home theatre system. This air conditioned room has built-in sofa seating and magnificent sea views. It opens onto its own balcony.

From the living area a staircase leads to the top floor where there are two double en suite master bedrooms, one on either side of the landing. These rooms look onto an adjacent deck and reflection pool. Steps lead from this upper deck through the garden to the swimming pool beneath. Two additional en suite master bedrooms are situated below the living area. All the bedroom suites have spectacular sea views, built-in wardrobes with ample storage and hanging space, personal safes, private balconies, air conditioning and ceiling fans. The large en suite bathrooms to all bedrooms feature walk-in rain showers and three of the four have marble-topped bath tubs.

The villa has a hidden garden and deck area right at its very top: the perfect place for enjoying a sundowner cocktail and watching the always-changing sunset views.

There is complimentary Wi-Fi broadband Internet access provided at the villa for guests' use.

Villa 85 - We had a very memorable time staying in the villa in Koh Samui. The villa is ideally situated near Chaweng beach. The villa is constructed on a hill overlooking a picture perfect panorama of about 10 km beach stretch. Not to mention the infinity pool overlooking this magnificent view. We have travelled South of France, Saint Tropez and South of Italy, Portofino but let me tell you the experienced we had in this villa in Koh Samui tops it all. Imagine being pampered by the in house caretaker and a personal butler and even a chef.
We are already talking about going back there. We have just found a paradise and we are not revealing it to our friends. Its our best kept secret!!!!!!!!!
