Villa 88

This brand new two-bedroom deluxe pool villa is one of 13 identical properties among a total of 26 set one step back from the white and totally safe sands of Plai Laem beach. The villa is walled and entirely private, and is situated within landscaped communal grounds that include a large pool and surrounding sun bathing terrace with sun loungers and parasols, and a shallow children's pool area.

Colourful tropical plants both within and around the villa create a private and peaceful environment. Inside there is a ceiling fan in the living area, air conditioning to the bedrooms, a personal safe, Wi-Fi internet access, flat screen cable TV and an iPod dock for guests' own music choices.

The villa has been completed to the highest level of stylish decor, with contemporary furnishings, natural finishes in soft colours and local wall art. The villa's own pool is 6m x 3m and has a beautiful waterfall feature and large terrace complete with sun loungers. Enjoy pure tropical-style outdoor living, with the al fresco lounge and dining area and the bedroom opening onto the pool and terrace. There is comfortable seating and a dining table for four in the living area, and the compact kitchen has a ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster, and is equipped for four people.

The master bedroom is spacious and stylishly furnished and comes with a king size bed and ample storage and hanging space within the built-in wardrobes. The beautiful en suite bathroom is designed along Asian contemporary lines, and features enormous mirrors, twin glass washbasins and a large walk in rain shower with feature LED coloured lighting. The second bedroom suite is set in a separate pavilion also overlooking the pool and terrace, and has a queen or twin beds, similar built in wardrobes, a large oriental style en suite bathroom with walk-in rain shower and a single glass washbasin.

The north east coast of Koh Samui is considered to be one of the best on the island, and the villa itself is a few steps to the beach and a short stroll to a neighbouring boutique hotel with beachside bar and restaurant. The local village of Plai Laem is also a short walk away, with its colourful and interesting Buddhist temple, the largest on Koh Samui. There are several excellent bars and restaurants in the village, together with a mini supermarket and ATM machine. A short drive will take you to the main tourist town of Chaweng, with its many restaurants, bars and other entertainment options, the 18-hole Santiburi golf and country club or the fascinating Fisherman's Village at Bophut, whose Chinese style chop houses lend it a quaint and exotic charm.

Plai Laem beach, less than 100 meters away. During certain times of the year the sea recedes over 100 meters, at all times the water is shallow and not suitable for swimming. It's a short five minute drive to Choeng Mon and one of the best swimming beaches on the island. 

These two bedroom villas can be joined via a connecting door providing four bedrooms for the larger family or group of friends.

Villa 88 - We really enjoyed our holiday to Thailand and it was great staying at the Samui Villas.
The staff on reception were very friendly, we often ordered taxis and food through them and they were always happy to help.
The maids were very good, kept the grounds, main pool and villas very clean.
We did have several power cuts whilst we were there, however, this could not be helped and the Receptionist did keep us informed on when this was likely to be back up and running.
The only criticism we had regarding the villas were the bathrooms, we loved the outdoor/indoor feel to these, however, with it being open air, the bathroom was very humid and attracted a lot of bugs/flies, the only time we got bit in Koh Sumui was in the bathroom at the villa. I personally think it would be much better to have an air conditioned bathroom where the doors and windows could be kept shut.
Overall though we loved the villas and would recommend them.

Villa 88 - is a perfect 2-bedroom villa for 2 couples wanting to get away from the busy scene but at the same time be close to it all as it was only a cheap 10-15 minute drive away. We were only about a 5 minute drive away from the main pier where we did most of our activities. Having a private pool was definitely a plus as some days we were just relaxing in our own pool. Not only was the villa maintained in a clean manner but the overall place was kept clean and presentable. I would like to thank the staff as they were very friendly and helpful and Eileen and Mark for the easy booking process. Definitely recommending this place to my family and friends!

Villa 88 - is very modern and stylish, but still representing the beauty of Thai culture. Off the beaten track, the villa allows you to relax and slow your hectic life down. The outdoor living area is a fantastic way to enjoy the weather while dining, watching the tv, or just chilling out. The private pool gives you an added comfort and freedom that makes your holiday that much more enjoyable. The daily servicing ensures that your surroundings are kept clean and tidy so that there is nothing for you to worry about. I highly recommend the villas for anyone wanting to get away.

Villa 88 - We had a fantastic stay in our villa! It was beautifully furnished and having our own private pool was wonderful. The staff were always warm and helpful and ready to help with all of our questions. Although the beach was not great for swimming, car hire was cheap and easy through the villa and a perfect beach was only minutes away. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

Villa 88 - I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for making the booking process so easy. You always replied to my emails in a matter of hours.
Our family of 4 adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Villa and would highly recommend it to families or 2 couples. It was a lovely location & we enjoyed our 5 minute stroll on the beach to the Outrigger each afternoon for sunset drinks. The Villa is close to everything and even though the taxis are cheap, we hired scooters for the week & it took us 5 minutes to get to Cheong Mon and 10 mins to the Fisherman's Village.
