In the hills of Bophut on the northeast coast of Ko Samui, this luxurious, light and bright four bedroom villa has its own large pool with covered sala enjoying stunning views, a fitness room, spa, BBQ and outdoor dining area. All this, plus a large private garden, five-star furnishings and accessories, and only 15 minutes from Chaweng and the airport.
The convenient location of this gorgeous property means that guests will never be at a loss for things to visit, see or do. Just 5 minutes from the fascinating Fisherman's Village with its cosmopolitan mixture of shops, restaurants and bars for nights out, it is a 15 minute drive to the main tourist centre of Chaweng, with its shops, nightclubs, restaurants, hotels and beaches.
The villa itself has a large, infinity edge pool, surrounded by terracing equipped with sun loungers, parasols, a BBQ and a dining table and chairs. The sala here has plenty of relaxing furniture for enjoying the views, which are at their best from this spot. The lower level of the property houses the fitness room and shower, plus a large private garden, including a lawn, and some shaded seating for further relaxation or appreciation of the views. All of the bedrooms are air conditioned, there is a ceiling fan in the living room, and guests can use the broadband Wi-FI Internet access throughout the villa.
The first sight of the villa is from its gently sloping driveway lined with plant pots and a collection of trees and bushes. Take just one step up into the stone-lined entrance of this villa and the view from the lobby is quite breath-taking and defines this holiday home as one of character, with its design taking full advantage of its setting and the views.
The lobby is light and bright and has a comfortable sofa. It leads out into a viewpoint terrace, where at last the villa itself might detract from the outside panorama as from here you can see over the different levels of the property and the landscaped gardens. Plants are a major feature in the villa, in pots or the ground, and the colourful tropical flowers please the eye at all times.
There is a bedroom either side of the lobby. To the right is a double room with wardrobes lining one wall, and large windows accentuating the views. There is an en suite shower bathroom.
The master bedroom suite is to the left of the lobby. This room of contrasts has a wood vaulted ceiling, dark polished wood floors and white walls and furnishings. There is a pleasing mix of the traditional with the modern: an antique writing bureau sits opposite a modern white bed, and a luxurious white sofa stands on a traditionally patterned rug. The large glass doors on one side of the room create a fresh, light and airy space, and of course, there are the views! The en suite bathroom has white twin hand basins set on a black granite top over white units, a walk-in shower and a large oval terrazzo bathtub with louvered windows to the side so that the views are still with you, even when in the bathtub.
There is a terrace running across the front of these bedrooms which leads to a staircase on the left of the master suite taking you down to the next level and into the expansive living area.
This exquisitely furnished, long, open-plan space is both functional and comfortable, and a glass banister ensures that nothing is hidden from view as you enter. On one side of this long room large glass doors open out onto the pool and terrace. Each area of the living area is cleverly defined. To the left of the stairs the wall is lined with white bookshelves and the brown sofa and chairs set around a large cream and brown rug and large coffee table provide an excellent reading-area-cum-study.
In the very centre of the living room a tan rug and the large sumptuous white sofas and chairs, accessorized with lilac cushions, create the lounge. There is a colourful abstract piece of art mounted on the wall, and a large flat screen TV/DVD/CD system occupies the space between the glass doors of the seating and dining areas. Finally, to the right is the dining area with an eight-seat dining table, and beyond that is the fully equipped western-style kitchen, which has white units topped with black granite surfaces. There is a feature central island breakfast bar for casual refreshments.
Adjacent to the kitchen is a modern and stylish bathroom which also leads out to the pool terrace.
To the right of the living room staircase there is a separate pavilion for the other two double bedrooms. The first suite has a private terrace and an en suite bathroom with an oblong terrazzo bathtub, which again is positioned next to louvered windows so that none of the wonderful views are missed.
In front of this bedroom but on a slightly lower level is the fourth bedroom suite, which also has a private viewing terrace and an en suite bathroom with a similarly situated - but this time square - terrazzo bathtub.
Both of these bedroom suites have steps down to the pool and terrace which runs across the front of the living room. To the front of the pool there is a lawn edged with an invisible glass barrier overlooking the lower level and the views beyond. To the right of the pool is the BBQ and al fresco dining area, and the covered sala, and from this side of the pool more steps lead down to the lower level and the gardens, the fitness room and shower.

For bookings of less than 1 week (3 - 6 nights) or for bookings made within 8 weeks of arrival, full payment is required at the time of the booking. Payment of the outstanding balance must be received at least 8 weeks prior to arrival.
