Laem Sett Koh Samui

Laem Sett is located on the southeast coast of Koh Samui in an area of outstanding natural beauty with quiet sandy beaches and un-interrupted views to nearby tropical islands. The seasonal tides vary greatly along the Laem Sett coastline, in particular during the summer months when the water recedes over 100 m exposing the reef and creating a wide expanse of shallow water opening up the beaches to all sorts of other pastimes including kite boarding and kite surfing activities. Alternatively visit the Koh Samui Aquarium and Tiger Zoo at nearby Hua Thanon. Here you will see many species of marine life including sharks and numerous colourful and unusual species of fish. There is also the most amazing collection of tropical birds, royal Bengal tigers and leopards.

While the south east coast around Laem Sett is very relaxing there are no shops or nightlife nearby, it is a 20 minute drive to Lamai and 40 minutes to Chaweng for the shops and vibrant nightlife, Koh Samui's number one entertainment destination.
