Stayed Apr / May 15 I just wanted to drop you a quick email to say how much my family and I enjoyed our recent stay in Villa 79 in Koh Samui. The villa was absolutely fantastic with some of the best views my family have ever experienced. In terms of the service I could not fault Pee and Nisha for the way they looked after us and I have to say we were very very sad to leave our tropical paradise!

This is truly an exceptional five bedroom villa in a secure and private residential community in north east Koh Samui, ideal for groups of friends or families: it is spacious, cool, enjoys unsurpassed and breathtaking panoramic views in three directions overlooking the beautiful Gulf of Thailand, and is very close to first class restaurants, shops and bars and the beautiful white sanded Choeng Mon beach. The villa's walled and landscaped garden is filled with lush tropical flora and trees providing a colourful foreground to the coconut plantations and seascapes beyond. A two minute drive will find you on the beach at Choeng Mon, and the airport, the vibrant and popular tourist spot of Chaweng town, and the fascinating Fisherman's Village at Bophut are all a ten minute drive away.

Built on three levels, the huge villa is a wonderful example of modern tropical architecture and design, skilfully enhanced with cool decor, wall art, sculptures and other artefacts, all of which draw you in to enjoy and luxuriate in its beautifully cool and spacious interior. Guests can be sure of secure exclusivity, expansive views including glorious sunrises and sunsets, indoor and outdoor dining options and a large free form infinity edge private pool.

Once inside the villa, which you enter from the private carport, the stunning views of the hills and coastline hit you immediately. This floor houses the two master king size bedroom suites, and two secondary double bedroom suites, all of which are air-conditioned. One master suite has tropical hardwood flooring, built-in wardrobes and plenty of free space in which to relax. The en suite for this room comprises both an indoor and outdoor bathroom, with twin hand basins and rain showers. The other master suite is also luxuriously appointed with hardwood flooring, elegant furnishings and built in wardrobes - plus it enjoys its own terrace with gorgeous views north and west over the Gulf of Thailand and its beautiful islands. The fifth air-conditioned bedroom, reached by a sweeping stairway, is located at the west end of the terrace surrounding the swimming pool. This is a large double room opening out directly onto the pool deck, with its own en suite.

The private swimming pool is a 120sqm infinity edge free form pool surrounded by a large sand stone sun terrace overlooking Big Buddha Bay. A large covered lounge area is situated at the rear of the pool terrace and is ideal for relaxing out of the sun. The terrace has sun loungers on which to relax, enjoy the views or read a book in shaded comfort from under the parasols.

The spacious fan-cooled living area is open plan, beautifully decorated and furnished, and contains a sumptuous lounge, a dining room with seating for 10, a fully equipped western style kitchen with breakfast bar - and fabulous views out to sea! The large glass sliding doors between the living area and sun deck can be opened completely for al fresco living. There is a dedicated AV den in which to enjoy the satellite LCD TV/DVD and stereo system. There is also an iPod dock for enjoying your own music. Complimentary WiFi Internet access is available throughout the villa.

To reserve this villa we require a completed booking form and an initial deposit of 35% (50% Christmas/New Year) of the total amount due. For bookings of less than 1 week (3 - 6 nights) or for bookings made within 8 weeks of arrival, full payment is required at the time of the booking. Payment of the outstanding balance must be received at least 8 weeks prior to arrival.
